From July 6th to 7th, the High Tech Energy Storage and High Tech Industry Research Institute held the 2023 High Tech Energy Storage Industry Summit in Changzhou, with the theme of "marketization, integration, and globalization". Jiangsu Haona New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Haona New Energy) made a stunning appearance at the exhibition, showcasing diversified solutions for sodium ion battery positive electrode materials to visiting users from all over the world.

As a high-tech enterprise focused on research and development, production, and sales of sodium ion batteries, Haona New Energy is committed to promoting the industrialization of sodium ion batteries through more innovative solutions for positive electrode materials of sodium ion batteries.

In terms of research and development, the company has a team with over 10 years of experience in sodium ion battery related technology research. The core research and management team members of the company come from well-known domestic and foreign universities such as Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, University of Tsukuba in Japan, Nanjing University, and Tsinghua University. The R&D team has continuously achieved technological breakthroughs and has developed multiple high-performance positive electrode materials, as well as sodium ion battery technology with independent intellectual property rights.

The Hona Power1 and Hona Power2 power series materials exhibited this time, as well as the Hona Glid1 and Hona Glid2 energy storage series materials, respectively use layered transition metal oxides with better comprehensive performance and Fe based polyanionic compounds. Through innovative design of the material structure, it has achieved better performance, met the differentiated needs of the sodium ion battery segment market, and achieved coverage in more application fields such as power batteries and energy storage.

Hona Power 1 and Hona Power 2 are the positive electrode materials for the Haona Power series - Mn base oxide sodium ion batteries. They are a high-energy type positive electrode material for sodium ion batteries, with a specific capacity of 170.7mAh/g and a cycle of 3000 cycles; At -20 ℃, the capacity retention rate is greater than 90%, and it has a good specific energy density, suitable for application scenarios such as low-speed electric vehicles and two wheeled vehicles.

Hona Grid 1 and Hona Grid 2 are the positive electrode materials of the Haona Energy Storage series - polyanionic compound sodium ion batteries. They are a long cycle type positive electrode material for sodium ion batteries, with a specific capacity of 119.2mAh/g and a cycle of 15000 cycles. They have high magnification and cycling characteristics, and are suitable for energy storage and other application scenarios.

In addition to positive electrode material products, Haona New Energy also showcased products such as soft pack cells and square aluminum shell cells prepared. By showcasing measured data, it helped visitors and communication users more intuitively understand the various properties of Haona products.

At present, Haona New Energy has completed the construction of a research and development center for sodium ion battery positive electrode materials, a small trial, and a cell research and development center. The 1000 ton positive electrode material pilot production line is expected to be debugged and completed in September.

With the support of the core technology of the team, Haona New Energy will continue to deeply layout the positive electrode material industry of sodium ion batteries, continuously improve product performance, accelerate the industrialization of sodium ion batteries, and help achieve the "dual carbon" goal.
